VHF DSC Marine Radio
VHF DSC Marine Radio Course This radio operator qualification authorises the holder to operate a VHF radio fitted with Digital Selective Calling on board any British vessel which is voluntarily fitted with radio equipment. This course highlights GMDSS, routine, distress, urgency and safety procedures.
OffshoreScotland is an RYA recognised sea school at Largs, on the west coast of Scotland. As well as providing a wide range of RYA theory and practical sail cruising courses at our training centre, we also offer milebuilder passages, skippered charter and bareboat charter using our yacht Esperanza.
We offer the RYA practical courses: Start Yachting; Competent Crew; Day Skipper; Coastal Skipper; Yachtmaster Offshore; and Cruising Instructor as well as the RYA theory courses: Day Skipper Theory; and Coastal and Yachtmaster Theory.
